Christmas Fun

Pitter Patter

We babysat my nephew Drake last week and had a blast! This little kid is full of smiles and neverending energy it amazes me. We started the night out with some tasty pizza that Drake loved.

He also thought it was fun to feed Chloe…what a sharer. And boy did he make a best friend that night, Chloe didn’t leave his side.

Then we spent the rest of the night playing with the dog and playing catch. Drake loves to clap and celebrate after a good throw! So cute!

Happy Hollah Days!

The ad agency I work for is full of creative geniuses. They are always coming up with a new outlook on traditional methods. Check out our fun holiday card they created here. All employees got to have their own mini photo shoot and recording session. Below are the photos of me from my fun little shoot. As you can see I am not the most creative in my crew, but we all had a lot of fun working on the project.

Let it Snow!

It is still snowing this morning—we have about 3 inches so far and no sign of the snow slowing anytime soon. Chloe is having a blast…she wasn’t too sure of it this morning but now she begs to go outside so she can tear it up and watch it fly.

And of course she had to taste it.

Giving Back

It has been an exciting Fall with Think Pink, Inc. We launched the Boise chapter this August and hosted Concert for the Cure in November. From our concert and Save the Boobs t-shirt sales we were able to donate $4,000 to the Boise affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. I want to thank all of my family and friends who have supported me in this cause from the beginning. All of your shirt purchases, encouraging words and support have made our success possible. We are excited for 2009 and look forward to making a difference in our community.

We were invited to the Komen open house last Thursday to present our donation toHilary, their new Executive Director.
It feels really good to be able to give back to our local community, especially during the holidays knowing that this money will help those in need. Thanks again for all of your support!

Round Two of Holiday Parties

Today was a day packed with fun holiday treats! My friend Lindzee hosted her legendary and fabulous Cookie Exchange party this afternoon. We were treated to a tasty gourmet brunch courtesy of Lindz and then walked away with about 75 delicious cookies that everyone brought. Talk about a great way to start off the day!

It was a fun afternoon of yummy cookies and great friends.

Then it was off to my sister Bridgette’s dance recital in Nampa. She teaches 3 classes for Dance Unlimited. Two classes are ballet/jazz for 6-8 year olds and her third is Jazz for 8-11 year olds. All of her classes did great! It was fun to see her teach the little ones and watch them shine at the recital.

And tonight was my company’s party in downtown Boise. The Drake Cooper team hit it up in style and had the placed decked out in snowflakes and twinkle lights…perfect since it has been snowing all day long.

13 days until Christmas! Hope you all are having as much fun as us celebrating!

Round One of Holiday Parties

This weekend was the Thorton Oliver Keller holiday party at Banbury Golf Course. We were treated to great entertainment (our wedding DJ was the emcee) and even better company.

It was fun to meet all of Trevor’s co-workers and watch as they were subjected to some pretty funny holiday games.

This coming weekend Round Two with the Drake Cooper team!

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas

This weekend we put up our very first Christmas lights together. Trevor was brave and scaled the second story for us to get the lights up on the highest peak. It is so much fun having a place of our very own to decorate. It took us about 4 hours to get it all figured out and hung and now the house looks merry!

Here we are just getting started.

We were lucky and little Drake stopped by to check out how things were coming along.

The finished product.

And another shot later at night so you can see the lights. ..too bad my camera didn’t capture the red and white lights too well. Santa…maybe a new camera for Christmas?
