Ok, it’s official. I am truly hooked on this series–I could not put this book down! I am sad I finished it in a couple of days, it has left me wanting to know more now and the next book Mockingjay isn’t out until August. How will I make it!?!?
This series is written for young adults, but I am loving it. I give Catching Fire an A. Great drama, loveable characters, somewhat predictable, but the great imagination of the story more than makes up for that.
If you haven’t read this series, start now. It’s a fun filled series that will keep you on your toes. The first book is Hunger Games. Enjoy!
Below are the books I have read in 2010. Click each link to jump over to my review.
1. Bright Shiny Morning: B-
2. Three Cups of Tea: A
3. Have a Little Faith: A+
4. Hunger Games: A
5. American Wife: A

I loved it! Thank you Vanessa for recommending it, without you I don’t think I would have ever cracked open this wonderful book.
American Wife is a great story that has so many layers I couldn’t begin to count. Ms. Sittenfeld’s writing makes you feel as though you are best friend’s with Alice (main character) and right alongside her for her triumphs and challenges. The book weaves together fiction and real life events so seamlessly, it sometimes has you wondering which is real.
I highly recommend you check this book out. I am definitely going to be reading her other novels!

Last night we brought out our inner disco and cut a rug in Payette with Larissa and Allen. The party was a blast and of course I love any chance to put on a costume. Rumor has it next party may be a TOGA one, can’t wait!
