I was one happy girl on Saturday…two of my nephews were celebrating birthdays…which means party time! Unfortunately Trev was down for the count with the nasty bug that is going around so he wasn’t able to partake in the birthday extravaganza, so I tried to do enough celebrating for the two of us.
Boy how time flies. I still can’t believe Carson is already 1 year old and Drake is now 3 years old!
I drove over to Fruitland and watched little Carson dig in to his teddy bear cake all on his own. He wasn’t too sure about it at first, but as soon as he realized how tasty that chocolate was, he was all over it. Happy birthday little guy!
With a full tummy I hopped back in the car and cruised on over to the Rutz house. Drake was all ready for his party to begin and had tons of little friends over to play. It is so cute to watch them interact and tell each other stories. I still can’t believe my little nephew is already 3. I remember when he was just a little buddy who couldn’t say a peep and now he can talk as fast as his mama! And that’s hard to do.
He is going to have to guard one of his gifts from me though…who remembers wanting the Play-Doh Burger Builder? Anyone? I most certainly wanted one! And now I will get to play until my heart is content…or until my 3 year old nephew tells me to stop hogging his toy.
