Alright ladies. Mark your calendars. Next Thursday, 9/8 the Boise Towne Square is having their first ever Fashion’s Night Out! It is from 6-9pm and I am told tons of goodies are going to be given away to the first 150 peeps that show.
Besides all the fun and fashion, Dress for Success Boise will be on site collecting items. For those unfamiliar with DFSB, they promote economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life. So if you are able, please bring ONE fashionable accessory, handbag or pair of dress shoes to Fashion’s Night Out to help an aspiring women complete her personal style.

Last week we celebrated my Daddio’s birthday with the fam. He grilled up some burgers and Mom made a nice spread for us. It was fun to relax at the house and celebrate how awesome he is. Love you Dad!
Wow. 1 in 6 Idahoans does not know where their next meal will come from. Are you able to help? Right now Scentsy (the company I am lucky to work for) is matching donations dollar for dollar to the Idaho Foodbank through the month of August. It is our hope that we can stock the shelves full of food to keep up with current demand. The $20 I donated was matched by Scenty’s $20 which in turn will provide 120 meals to people in our community. Please join in and help those who need us now.
This past weekend we spent some time with Trevor’s family in Payette. On Saturday we loaded up the cars and drove out to Owyhee for a little boating. We had a blast! I even tried wake boarding, yikes! The last attempt was over 1o years ago so I wasn’t too sure how this would pan out. I am happy to report I made it up!! Granted it wasn’t for very long, but hey, I’ll take what I can get. We also stumbled across an old ship with a pirate flag — novelty photo time, my favorite!
We had such a fun time catching up with the fam, it had been waaayyy too long. Thanks guys for a fun time!
